My more than 22 years of public service has taken me to places around the globe including local investigations, intelligence operations in Iraq, undercover operations throughout the world, and enforcement operations in the middle of the ocean. Such sacrifice and dedication are also expected of your family. We strongly believe in carrying on the tradition of service, a tradition instilled in us by our parents, an uncle who served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, and our grandfather who served in the Marines during World War II.Ī career in public service requires sacrifice and dedication. My brother and I both serve as criminal investigators with ICE OPR, and our cousin is a special agent with ICE HSI.
My father was a firefighter, and my mother was an emergency medical technician for a short period of time. Serving the community has been a way of life in my family since I was a child.
